Beavers

Beavers are Scouts youngest section, aged between 6 and 8. Beavers get up to lots of fun and adventure, which a huge variety of activities. Our inclusive programs help develop young peoples skills in an interactive way, helping them grow as individuals, but also as team players.

Bearsted Scouts have 2 Beaver collonies in the group who meet on Thursdays and Fridays during term time.

Beavers are all about making new friends and enjoying time together. Beavers is fantastic way to meet new people who live nearby, but outside of a classroom setting. With inclusive activities that are fun for everyone, Beavers is a great way to find a group of friends where you feel included and valued.

Scouting offers all young people a fantasitc array of skills through activities and challenges. From learning life saving first aid skills, to how to treat others with respect, Beavers are given opportunities to pick up skills without even realising.

With regular activities from crafts to camping, Beavers offers some fantastic unique opportunities for all young peopel aged between 6 and 8.

Adventure is always at the heart of Scouting, and just because you may be a little younger doesn’t mean that you are excluded! Beavers allows young people the chance to explore limits in a safe and supervised manner, whether it is climbing to the top of a wall, or getting that bulls-eye in archery for the first time – Scouting offers it all.
